Slow food comes to Suffolk

Local food champions recently gathered at The Anchor Inn at Walberswick for the launch of Slow Food East Suffolk.

Founded in Italy in 1989, the international Slow Food movement was created to promote good, clean, fair food for all. It has more than 100,000 members worldwide.

Wonderful local seasonal food and drink is a cornerstone of our economy in East Suffolk. By launching Slow Food East Suffolk, we celebrate what is on our doorstep and will be organising foodie events to spread the word.
