Red Poll Beef Supper

As a fringe event to the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival, a Red Poll Beef Supper is being hosted at The Bell at Sax on Thursday 10th September at 7pm.

Diners will be treated to a four course dinner from Jonny Nicolson and a producer talk by Jeremy Thickitt of Emmerdale Farm Shop and Clarkes' of Bramfield.

  • Peppered Red Poll fillet carpaccio with watercress-shallot salad, tarragon, horseradish and mustard, parmesan drizzle
  • Duo of Red Poll: Osso Bucco shin, potato mousseline, garlic kale and port ragout; char-grilled bavette and bearnaise sauce
  • Bungay's Baron Bigod Brie rarebit with caramelised onion relish
  • Baked Swiss dark chocolate fondant with pistachio custard and orange crème chantilly
